Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Quarters collects, how it is used, and the controls you have when using our tools.
No Account, No Tracking
Quarters does not require accounts or logins. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers. We do not profile visitors or sell data to advertisers.
Calculator Inputs Stay Local
All calculators run entirely in your browser. Inputs such as pay grades, ZIP codes, or projected contributions are processed client-side and never sent to our servers unless explicitly required to fetch official rate tables.
When calculators fetch data (for example, BAH rates), requests only include the minimum inputs necessary to retrieve public information. We do not associate these lookups with IP addresses, user agents, or other identifiers.
Local Storage & Share Links
Some tools offer optional share links. When you choose to create one, the calculator encodes the current inputs into the URL so you can revisit or share it. No data is stored on our servers; the information remains in the URL under your control.
We do not use cookies or local storage to persist personal information. Browser storage is limited to preferences such as theme settings when necessary.
Third-Party Services
Quarters may rely on trusted infrastructure providers (for example, hosting platforms or content delivery networks) to serve the application. These providers are contractually obligated to process data solely to deliver the Quarters experience and cannot use it for their own purposes.
When a calculator references official data sources, we host the datasets locally and do not make requests to third-party APIs that would expose user input.
Data Retention
Because inputs stay in your browser, Quarters retains no personal data. Any diagnostic logs collected by our hosting provider are limited to anonymized error traces needed to maintain the service and are purged automatically on a rolling basis.
Your Choices
If you prefer not to use share links, simply avoid copying the generated URL. You can clear calculator inputs at any time, and refreshing the page returns you to the default state.

Policy Updates
We may update this policy as new features launch or regulations evolve. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Quarters after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
